		<description>Actually we do know why Hurley was in the hospital...he killed two people (at least he blames himself for their deaths) and didn&#039;t speak for a long time...I believe.

It seems to me that the theme of this book is carried out in what the writers wanted us (the viewers) to think the others were doing with Claire and baby when they kidnapped her.  As I am recalling this episode in my head, it seemed to me they were &quot;adopting&quot; her child for the sake of &quot;new world order&quot; ideals.

Just my thoughts...

one last thing, you have really spawned on something here!  I am very excited to read your thoughts and it has catapulted me to pick up some deep reads...thank you!</description>
