Messing with Layout

by James Brush on July 5th, 2006 | 6 Comments

Obviously, I’ve been tinkering with my blog’s CSS. This is a fixed layout that I’ve been wondering about.

How does it look from where you sit? Is it easy to read? Do you have to do any excessive sideways scrolling? I’d appreciate it if you let me know of any funkiness in your browser/monitor setup.

Thanks.

looks great to me! very easy to read. I’m using Safari by the way, if that helps.

Aesthetically pleasing – easy to use – but I did like it when you had book suggestions from your library on the right side – that was cool. ALWAYS informative and entertaining!

Thanks for the feedback. I think I’ll be keeping it like this for a while, at least till I get bored and need another change for the sake of change.

BTW – the book recommendations come from LibraryThing, but because they’re still in beta and their servers sometimes get overloaded it would occasionally slow down the loading of my blog so I took it off for now. Check out LibraryThing, though. It’s very cool.
