We read a whole stack of them to get caught up, squinting and mispronouncing for full effect.
It’s hard to see the humor anymore, though.

Some Things Aren’t As Funny As They Used to Be

Dubya is pretty much like Clinton. He inspires the same sort of passion. I think the real shame of the Bush/Clinton years is what happens to their critics when they leave office. With relatively few exceptions like Christopher Hitchens or Mark Steyn, they kind of shrivel (the critics rather than the presidents).
Yes, too many build their reps on taking down just one pol. It seems like a waste to me. I never saw what got people so riled about Clinton, though. The guy was a centrist. Perhaps that’s what irked people – he took credit for making the better ideas of both sides happen.
