Loved it. Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows is a wonderfully satisfying conclusion to the series. It made me sad that it was over, but I don’t think it could have ended any more perfectly.
And, regarding the theory I posited right here on this blog two years ago, I was right.
James Brush is a teacher and writer who lives in Austin, TX. He tries to get outside as much as possible.
I also loved it, and was ecstatic reading the epilogue. She gave it an ending I could be proud of.
Awesome, no? Fun to get all worked up about a good story.
Hi James! Longtime reader, first time poster.
🙂 (I found your blog through Austin Bloggers.)
I, too, just finished Deathly Hallows. I hadn’t read any of the series when Deathly Hallows came out so I read seven books in about four weeks. Whew! Loved them! And the ending did not disappoint. I blogged about them as I went – all tagged Harry Potter (surprise) if you’d care to read my impressions. http://cabin77.livejournal.com
I enjoy your posts. Keep it up!
In a few years, maybe after having time to forget some of the details, I might read the whole thing again.
Mikala, thanks for commenting! I’ll check out your Potter (and other) posts.
