This is the visitor I saw at the hummingbird feeder yesterday. It hangs from the roof, so this crafty little devil had to climb down the chain to the hanging plant to get to the feeder.
I’ve seen more hummers around lately, but now I know why the sugar water has been disappearing unusually fast the past few days.

Dang, I’ve never seen that before! Isn’t it convenient that the feeder has those handy little squirrel finger handles? 🙂

Wow, that’s a new one. They really will take advantage of any feeder they can find, obviously. That’s all you need, a squirrel on a sugar high. Yikes!
I was laughing so hard I almost forgot to try to get a picture. The way he was holding the perches, I expected him to start making vroom-vroom motorcycle noises.
