bees navigate
fields of wildflowers
I stop and watch
idle
—
firewheels
windblown, yellow
dancing, twisting, shimmering
lunchtime passes too fast
enough
—
stoptime
fields in red bloom
killdeer race through the grass
and bees hover silently, slow
firewheels
—
